Mr. Antonio Sajonas was appointed by the Executive Board to take
over the position of Mr. Alvin Bailen until the next election. The
union’s policies, rules are embodied in the Constitution. Projects: 1.
Oriented the members in regard to their rights and obligations as
union members and as employees, the present labor relations systems, the
existing collective negotiating agreement and all matters that directly or
indirectly affect the union. Conducted: *Basic
Orientation Seminar on Unionism December
2001- held at PNHS Social Hall sponsored by the PS Link (Public Services
Labor Independent Confederation) a national confederation of labor unions. 2.
Extended death aid to members amounting to 3,000 pesos. Donated to
the school, dental equipments amounting to 54,000 pesos. 3.
Donated to the school 50 armchairs from the union’s
solicitations. 4.
Extended emergency relief assistance loans to members from 5,000 to
10,000 pesos. 5.
Provided financial support to other activities in the school.
Projects to undertake this year: 1.
To sponsor a medical check- up for employees specifically on
cholesterol, blood sugar and urinalysis. 2.
Conducting seminar on legal issues. 3.
Conducting CAN-
collective negotiation agreement.
